Dr. Steven Morris received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He served his internship and his urological residency at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He was a Urologist and General Medical Officer in the United States Army Reserve for seven years. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1978 and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the Medical Director of the Urology Center, and he serves on the board of directors for the Knox Area Stone Center. He is a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, TN. This year, Dr. Morris is Chief-elect of the department of surgery at Baptist Hospital West for Women, and in 2005 will begin his tenure as Chief of Surgery. He is currently on the Medical Executive Committee.
Dr. Morris is involved in advancing the field of urology including publishing professional articles and presenting papers at professional urological assemblies. He maintains memberships in several professional medical organizations including the American Fertility Society, the American Urological Association and the American Lithotripsy Society.

T. Preston Shepherd, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. T. Preston Shepherd received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. He served his internship and residencies at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA and Alexandria, VA where he was chief resident in Urology. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1990 and recertified February 28, 1998 and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Shepherd attends regular medical seminars and professional conferences to continue to provide his patients with the latest state of the art care in urology.

Christopher D. Harris, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Christopher Harris obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He served his internship and residencies at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1992 and recertified February 28, 2001 and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Harris maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Urological Association, Tennessee Medical Association,, the Knoxville Academy of Medicine and the American Association of Clinical Urologists. Dr. Harris also attends regular medical seminars and professional conferences to offer the newest advances in urology.

Garrett H. Lischer, M.D.
Dr. Lischer joined our practice on August 1, 2004.
Dr. Lischer earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, in 1998. He completed his internship and urology surgical residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Lischer was certified by the American Board of Urology February 28, 2006.
Dr. Lischer maintains memberships in many professional societies including the Mayo Fellows Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Urological Association. For the advancement in his field, Dr. Lischer has published professional articles and has presented papers at professional urological assemblies.

Walter W. Chiles III, M.D.
Dr. Walter Chiles III earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis in 1999. He served his general surgical residency and received his post-graduate training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Dr. Chiles III is a member of the South Central Section of the American Urological Association, the American Urological Association, and the American Association of Clinical Urologists. He was awarded the Phizer Scholar Award in Urology in 2004 and also has made a number of presentations at professional urological assemblies. Dr. Chiles was certified by the American Board of Urology March 19, 2007.
